We’re excited to announce that we’re expanding our partnership with World Wildlife Fund. In 2021, we released a collection of WWF World Facts which show one of 42 incredible images each week and alternates between five different wildlife and ecology facts. This collection continues to be a huge hit with schools across the UK and beyond, giving students an insight into the world beyond their immediate surroundings.
Promoting wellbeing through nature
We’ve now partnered with WWF again to bring you a Daily Dose of Nature, highlighting the beauty of the natural world here in Britain. You may have seen this captivating content on your TV and social media. Now, you can display it on your school’s digital signage with TrilbyTV.
WWF’s latest campaign A Prescription for Nature promotes the benefits of nature for wellbeing. Research shows that spending 20 minutes a day in natural spaces can help to reduce stress, improve mood and rest the mind.
In our busy lives, it can be challenging to remember to get out into nature. We’re excited to partner with WWF to share simple but powerful resources that help everyone reconnect with the natural world. The collection includes captivating photography of natural scenes from around the UK – including plants, animals and landscapes. Each time the content shows on your screens, you’ll see a different photo alongside an activity to encourage your students to engage with nature in their daily lives.
This collection is incredibly versatile and could be used in many different settings throughout your school. Why not display it on screens in social areas so that students can engage with the activities during break or lunchtime? Or, if you use your classroom screens as signage, you could show the content at the start of a science lesson or form time and use the activity as a talking point. You could also promote staff wellbeing by showcasing the content on your staffroom signage.
