A little over a year ago we announced an exciting new partnership with the Vocabulary Ninja. This gave our education customers access to the Vocabulary Ninja’s “Word of the Day” via the Content Catalogue.
A fantastic response
The response from our customers was phenomenal. Executive Head at Dordon and Wood End Primary Schools, Moira Cross posted online, “We loved drawing children’s attention to Vocabulary Ninja’s word of the day on our screens. Staff adding the word to word walls was the icing. Seeing children use it…the cherry on the top!”
A year on, the popularity of this content hasn’t dwindled, with more and more schools using it and sending us stories of how impactful it is every week. A prime example is our latest visit to RGS Worcester, where we saw the IT department showing the Vocabulary Ninja’s ‘Word of the Day’ on one of their screens.
Updated slides with new words
With the ‘Word of the Day’ being more successful then we could have ever imagined, we were absolutely stoked to continue the partnership with this epic learning resource for yet another year! This means that there’s a completely new set of words that will be featured daily on your screens for the next year. It’s a great way to get students thinking about literacy, especially if you have a digital display in your library area or English department. You can use the words as inspiration for a creative writing lesson. Or challenge your pupils to include the word in a piece of work. You could have some fun seeing who can weave the ‘Word of the Day’ naturally into a conversation.

What is the Content Catalogue?
TrilbyTV’s Content Catalogue is a collection of education focused material and works on signage as if you had added the content yourself. You can add or remove content, edit times and dates, and add your information to the mix. When you check out the content catalogue you’ll see it’s only one simple tap to copy this great content onto your feed so it starts playing on your screens. We’ve not made all this content ourselves, instead, we’ve turned to those who know best and asked a range of organisations to provide content around their specialisms. Nothing is pushed to screens until you tag it and approve it.
