In our two part blog series, we’ll look at how you can use TrilbyTV and your digital signage to create amazing content, educate your students, and resonate with your audience.
Our first blog will focus on creating great content through the use of our ready-to-go Smart Content, connecting Canva seamlessly as Web Content, and how dynamic video content will wow your audiences and keep them engaged.
Smart Content
TrilbyTV’s Smart Content provides ready-to-go impactful content that can be customised and added to your feed in a matter of minutes, allowing you more time to focus on what really matters, building your community and seeing them thrive.
What better way than to celebrate student success with an on screen Celebration or Award, share amazing performances with our Super Stats, or encourage friendly competition with House Points.

We’ve seen some fantastic out-of-the-box uses with Smart Content, like using our Staff board as a learning resource showing King Henry VIII’s wives 🤴🏻, and House Points being used to share energy usage information ⚡️
What will you use Smart Content for?
Canva
Canva is a fantastic tool that offers an exciting array of templates, graphics, and images allowing you to create well-designed, eye-catching signage content that your audience will want to look at. With a quick search, you’ll find a host of themed content that can easily be adapted for use on your digital signage.

Adding a Canva document as Web Content on TrilbyTV means you can even share live content straight from Canva. Within minutes of editing in Canva your signage will update automatically, making the process of keeping content fresh even easier. You can read more about this in our Adding Canva Slides to TrilbyTV article.
For some education institutes, Canva offers a free Premium subscription, giving you access to its paid images and templates.Find out more information here.
Videos
A great way to introduce dynamic content to your screens is with video. Short video clips allow you to share real school moments that bring your school’s vibrant culture to life.
There are many opportunities throughout the school day where videos can be used to share student life and learning. Share student’s work and creative processes, videos from your school’s news team, or even the winning score of your latest sports event.

These videos capture genuine experiences, making parents feel more connected to their child’s educational journey and keeps students engaged by seeing their achievements noticed and celebrated.
