Updating your TrilbyTV Apps

We regularly update our TrilbyTV apps with new features and bug fixes. Details of the latest changes can be found on our Release Notes page.

Updating TrilbyTV for iPad

Open the App Store on your device and tap the Updates tab. If there is an update available for TrilbyTV, tap the Update button and wait for it to install. The version 4 iPad app is currently undergoing a re-write and will be available soon. You can access via app.trilbytv.co.uk for a great tablet experience.

Updating TrilbyTV Player for iOS

  • Open the App Store on your device and tap the Updates tab.
  • If there is an update available for TrilbyTV Player, tap the Update button and wait for it to install.
  • When finished, relaunch the app to resume playback

Updating TrilbyTV Player for AppleTV

  • Open the App Store on your AppleTV and select the Recently Updated tab.
  • Find TrilbyTV Player from the list of thumbnails and select it.
  • Scroll to the Update button and select it.
  • When finished, relaunch the app to resume playback.

Updating TrilbyTV Player for Chrome/ChromeBit

Updates to TrilbyTV Player for Chrome will download in the background. In order for them to install, you just need to restart your device. We recommend doing this on a weekly basis to ensure you’re always up to date.

Updating TrilbyTV Player for Amazon fireTV and other Android based devices

Updates to TrilbyTV Player for Chrome will download in the background. In order for them to install, you just need to restart your device. We recommend doing this on a weekly basis to ensure you’re always up to date.

If you installed manually using the APK file, then you will either need to download the app from the Google Play Store which will auto-update as required, or manually download the APK again from here. We strongly recommend using the Play Store to ensure you are always up to date.
