TrilbyTV are honoured to be chairing an event on Wed, 24 February that will be focusing on Remote Education. The online gathering which is being run by the RGS Worcester Family of Schools will be concentrating on what has gone well as remote learning has become more embedded during the pandemic and what has gone wrong as well as the lessons we can take forward to improve education.
It comes at a time when remote learning has become the main resource for schooling the majority of children up and down the country and globally. Schools have been able to adapt their curricula and utilise technology to facilitate the continuity of learning during the most challenging of times. RGS Worcester’s aim from this gathering is to build on these successes and offer the opportunity for schools and colleges to hear from experts across the education spectrum who have been involved nationally at the cutting edge of remote education.
Live Q&A discussion on remote learning
As well as highlighting the phenomenal effort by teachers nationwide providing remote education during the covid-19 pandemic, the event will also have a live Q&A discussion. This will include a panel with some very special guests from a variety of UK school contexts, including TrilbyTV’s Neil Emery who is thrilled to have been selected,
“The last 12 months have seen some radical changes being made to the way that we educate the next generation. The teachers involved have gone above and beyond in not only supporting home learning but finding new and innovative ways to do this. This event is a great way for us all to share ideas and experience, while celebrating the fantastic job that teachers are doing to ensure that children continue to learn during this surreal time.”
