BETT Show: Under the Hat

So Bett 2020 is over but we had an absolute cracker of a show. In fact, we would say it was probably the best to date, so bring on Bett 2021! It was great to introduce so many inspirational individuals to TrilbyTV.

We’re hoping to see more schools across the UK switch on their signage. It was also great to catch up with some good friends and customers – thanks for stopping by.

While exhibiting at the show, Deputy Network Manager, James Holliday and IT Apprentice Technician, Dylan Gordon-Brown from The Matthew Arnold School approached the stand. They joined the TrilbyTV community in September and are the second school to do so from the Bourne Education Trust. James and Dylan were both beaming and couldn’t wait to tell us the positive impact that TrilbyTV has had on their school.

#UnderTheHat at Bett

We thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to do a joint #UnderTheHat and shoot them a few questions about their experience so far…

What’s the best thing about your job?

Dylan: “Putting content on the screens and seeing the children’s reaction to the content.”

Why is sharing and showcasing digital content important to you?

James: “It’s raising the brand image for the school, promoting different products, raising awareness and it sticks out. Loads of people can view it at different times, with departments showcasing contrasting content. We’ve got our cafe screen that just shows menus. We can also easily direct the content to which screen we want to showcase the content.”

Why TrilbyTV?

Dylan: “It’s simple, easy to use, easy to manage.”

What’re your future plans for growing your school’s digital signage?

James: “We want to incorporate it with the iPad’s, getting the students to produce and post the content directly, with the admin team’s approval of course.”

What idea or resource are you leaving in the hat?

James: “I find that saving a document to a PDF makes the image resolution look a lot crisper.”

Thanks to James and Dylan for visiting the stand. We can’t wait to see how you use TrilbyTV in the coming months!

It’s always great to hear how our customers find it so easy to integrate digital signage into their schools using TrilbyTV. We are hoping that we can help the schools that we met at Bett do exactly this!
