“As part of our inclusion agenda we are seeking to promote and develop further areas of student responsibility and active citizenship through significant ‘Student Voice’ activities”.
The Earls High School, Dudley, used funding from their Creative Partnerships grant to create the Pancake Team and PancakeTV. 30 students from across the year groups have the job of talking with their peers to come up with ideas for the PancakeTV Station. The Earls wanted to do more with video especially as they have Performing Arts Specialist status. TrilbyTV was the perfect solution and we linked it into their network authentication system so there is a seamless move from their VLE to PancakeTV. We added image and audio streaming players to the system so that the school’s artists and music groups could share their work.
